The Jr. Drag Boat Racing League is a program for kids age 10 - 15. The JRDBRL is the brainchild of Geoff Archer, owner of Twisted Liquid Marine. The idea came from his passion for drag boat racing and the desire to get kids off the electronics and back outside. To advance the project, TLM assembled two purpose-built Jr. Drag Boats for exhibition racing. The plan is to generate momentum and support from the drag boat community and bring Jr. Drag Boat class racing to the clubs and kids. The JRDBRL program is modeled after the highly successful NHRA Jr. Dragster program. Many of the rules that ensure safe drag racing for the kids follow the lead of the NHRA program. The gopal is to promote good, clean and safe Jr. Drag Boat racing!
